All Herbivores (Except for the Gigantopithecus) are passive unless provoked in which they will either attack or flee, if you touched a Gigantopithecus it would attack (very understandable if something touched you by suprise) but the Therizino aggro system changed the course of history for herbivores, they attack on site or one provoked.
